ďI was introduced to computer graphics in the early 1990ís by Kenneth Noland, who, at the time was using a custom made program that could run a seemingly infinite number of color permutations within simple bands of color. The possibilities were incredibly intriguing but at the time graphic software and hardware capable of photographic or near photographic quality were prohibitively expensive and relatively crude by todayís standards. It remained for me a dream until the mid-late 1990ís when computers, monitors, printers, scanners and a little later, digital cameras became available that could produce images of remarkably high quality at an affordable cost. I use a digital drawing tablet and digital camera images. The process evolved based on images from my existing drawings and paintings. These images then become elements.
